The reason we live in an evil world today is because researchers are always finding some wrong in how we act towards our kids. All of a sudden you're a bad parent if you hit your kid. You can't let your kid cry it out. && I recently saw something saying you shouldn't punish your kids. Well wtf we supposed to do when they act out? This is why kids grow up && kill their parents. This is why kids grow up && go against the law.. Look how much crime we had 30 years ago vs the crime we have now! Look how children act then vs how they act now!! Nothing is wrong with discipline.. I'm not saying beat the shyt out of your child but I don't see anything wrong with a spanking every now && again. I don't plan on hitting my child when he gets older but if words aren't working then yes I will start spanking. I don't want to hear my child cry but if he just acting spoiled and he just being a brat then yes I will let him cry it out..If my child is good I will reward him if he bad depending on the circumstances then yes I will punish him!! I know there will be many that will disagree but o well!

I don't have to often but if my kids need it they get spanked on their butt. I won't have them disrespecting others.

agree agree agree. Kids need discipline and structure. I was spanked as a kid and I wasn't traumatized or beat. and it's what I needed. same goes for my kids.

I couldn't agree more with you...kids today are not disciplined and are out of control...I was spanked as a kid, was grounded, and had time outs and I turned out pretty good I still respect my parents and others.

you shouldnt hit your kid thats the only thing i agree with you can make just as much of a impack by time out and talking to them and letting kids cry wont hurt but know one should ever hit there kids but ofcourse there going to act out sometimes there kids

@ i disagree with sammie bell about spankings every child is different and. some kids need a spankings because too old for time outs time outs don't work get disrespectful continue to act a fool and punishments just don't work i grew up with 5 siblings and we all were disciplined differently . People trip me out saying time outs when time outs dont work for all kids .
