the doctor told me I have it since I mentioned it to him that I've been itching on my legs :( and he looked and said it was that. its been going on for about 2months but i barely told him last Monday and he gave me a medicine/cream! I hate it , it itches a lot :( its making my legs ugly @mmora when will it go away?
I just thought it was dry skin so i never said anything then I got worried when someone said something about cholestasis so that's what made me ask. it itches so much that it makes me wana freaking cry I can't help it
The itching should start to get less intense within the next week or so. I know the itching is absolutely terrible it'll drive you nuts. Especially at night! Did he give you the cream that starts with a P? You won't give it to baby as long as you wash all your linens/ sheets in super hot water. You shouldn't be contagious by the time you give birth but be careful about your couch and things like that cause the little bugs will live on those cloth surfaces for up to 2 weeks (I think).
Let me correct myself they live on surfaces for up to 5 days not 2 weeks. If you can't wash certain things you can put them in black trash bags and leave them be for those 5 days and the mites will die and not jump to other surfaces.

Nothing you can really spray :( and Ya the bugs under your skin will be all gone by then and all that's left will be the bites you already have which will get less itchy with every day that goes by. It really is one of the worst things to have but the permethrin cream is exactly what you need to make it better so just hang in there :( I think with the cream you use it once after a shower and then wait for a week or so and then do it one more time. Your putting it all over your body right? Not just on your bites. It has to go everywhere. Cause that way there will not be any left over bugs to lay more eggs that will just hatch and cause the same problem all over again😢 I really feel for you girl. The last few days of pregnancy are hard enough without having that awful itching!!
I've gotten it twice from working in healthcare and each time I've been absolutely miserable. Luckily I kept the cream from the 1st time I had it and was able to catch it a lot earlier the second time I had it.
