any of you lovely ladies had a kidney infection before? i think i have one but not too sure!

yes, very painful. you'll have pain in your back towards the side.

@junebaby, does the pain come & go or just stay there all day?

my infections would come and go usually but sometimes it stayed. my stones were constant pain.

idk if its a kidney infection both side on my back hurt like on top under my boobs but in the back & it hurts when i lay for to long or sit in a certain position @junebaby

your kidneys should hurt much lower down like the lower mid area.

if you press in firmly it will usually feel tender.

does your urine smell or appear cloudy. does it burn when you urinate. those are all signs as well.

@junebaby, ever since i had my baby i dont have bladder control i leak a lot so i do keggals & havent really noticed if its cloudy! ive been having this back pain for 4 days now but it comes with cramps so idk what it might be

i had a uti before going into labor & didnt get to finish my antibotics @junebaby

you probably have a uti then. that can cause everything you've been experiencing. if left untreated it causes the infection to back up to your kidneys. you can get really sick so see the doctor asap and finish all antibiotics so it'll knock it out.

I've had a kidney infection before and OMG it hurt I was on the ground hunched over screaming.

ill probably go into ER tomorrow. because its painful just not extremly painful! @junebaby

@firefly, ive been having same pain for 4 days & it doesnt get worse

if it goes untreated it gets worse, better to be safe then sorry.

yes worst pain ever in my opinion loved the fact they gave me a morphine drip it was pure heaven lbvs but get seen asap very dangerous during pregnancy
