So my plan was to stay in for night but i decided to do my 15 min. drive to wal mart and finally buy a maternity pillow because i just couldn't get comfortable in any way. So im in walmart and im showing so this woman probably late teens early twenty s says hey i love love the belly bump so i say thank you she asks how far along am i i say 17 going on 18 weeks and she says wow you look bigger than that that was strike one next thing she asks me is well how old are you you look young though i say I'm 27 she says o so your not knew to this ...??? ..so I'm like what do you mean by that this is my first she goes wow your old to be having your first one but that's cool though......wtf is that suppose to mean i wanted to slap her but instead i said I'm not old and you sound young now move up the line is moving...like wtf is wrong with ppl?!?# I don't think I'm too old for this to be my first right?

I'm 31 and having my first...I hate people like that and it's non of their business don't let it bother you. there are so many reasons why some wait...in my case it took 6 years of trying.

@eskawho, exactly i wanted to wait until i finished college and was well into my career before thinking of a family of my own between schooling and work no way that would have worked well i wasnt ready

I think that is the perfect time especially having the feeling you are more prepared and ready for becoming a parent ...I did want kids earlier but honestly it worked for the best...my husband was in the military and was gone so much and we moved around a lot. now he is out and we settled in a nice city, bought a home, and most importantly my husband is home every night and has a job he loves!

I think you're age is perfect. If is planned my pregnancy hey would be at your age. She didn't have to say it like that. Smh but I do feel for what she said because the majority of women start to have kids a little early especially now in days. But don't let that get to you. That was ignorant of her.

@dannettx3, yeah its true that usually women have kids earlier but it was like o your too old to just be starting out and im like at least i can have kids some women try and try and cant i rather start late thn never can at all but i get it .

i dont like it when ppl tell me stuff like that..they see my about to be 2 years old son and they ask me if he is my son and how old am i.. when i tell them that im 22 they start saying oh you are too young to have a baby..tf? i dont feel to young or old to have my 2 years old son and expecting my 2nd baby..ppl will always have something to say 😔
