So this annoys me kind of: that 40 weeks is considered full term. But at time of conception (which is an actual start of pregnancy) you're already considered 2 weeks pregnant! So to me what makes sense is to say that 38 weeks is actual full term and based on that calculate Due date! My due date is supposed to be April 21, based on that! But this stupid system calculation is saying May3. And if my baby comes before May 3 that would be still considered as early. Pfffff I can't wrap my mind around shiza that makes no sense! 😣 who agrees with me?! 😩😩

Haha I got so upset last week because I was trying to explain how the way it's calculated technically pregnancy would be 10 months not 9. And she was like since when? Now that your pregnant they changed the rules. Lol. Haha I was so mad.

40 week is considered full term bcuz even tho ur technically 2 weeks pregnant at conception... ur baby is 2 weeks behind. That's why if u look up certain stuff on the internet... or even at my doctor they tell ur, ur however many weeks pregnant but ur fetus gestational period is water. For me it would be ur 31 weeks pregnant but ur fetus gestation is 28 weeks. It only REALLY matters if u have ur baby early nd it's time from them to reach milestones such as breathing on their own,holding their head up, crawling, walking, talking. They probably will be however many weeks being they was born. vs a "full term" baby

@kismet_carri, totes get what u saying...and yes in all technicalities but I only think then it would make more sense to that to add 2 weeks after the conception rather then count 2 'empty' weeks already pregnant when conception just occurred. If I make sense 😁😩 I'm just saying it's unnecessary to count it that way! Pregnancy should be counted as fetus gestation because that's what it's all about lol so to count it as of start, conception. 😩😩
