pumping and cramping, good sign?! and my baby was moving a lot too *-*

the rule is to pump for 15 mins OR until a contraction starts. if you start a contraction, stop pumping and let it finish and see if another one starts up on its own. if not, pump again in another 20 mins and so on. you should stop when a contraction hit a because it's important to let your body finish off the contraction by itself, that way it's more likely that your body will be able to start up another one by itself too :)

@goldenboobies, thanks yeah I start getting contractions (cramps like) every time I pump one boob then I try to pump the other one... what if I stop pumping when I get a contraction and the contraction stop too? thanks again :)

if you're getting contractions then it's working. and my son moves a lot when I pump, too. it's normal.

@goldenboobies, how long have u being pumping?

since 37 weeks so only about a week. it's not recommended to pump before full term, which is 37 weeks.
