@blackjbutterfly14, are you still in the hospital? When I was in the hospital I had my babies bed cart thing right next to my bed where I could pick him up by just sitting up in bed. I had everything I needed right by the bed & only got up to go to the bathroom & I showered once but almost passed out cause it was too much too fast. Don't be afraid to ask a nurse for help in the shower or ask them to take baby to nursery while your mom or SO helps you shower. Rest the first couple days at hospital and try to walk around a little on the last day. When you get home take it as easy as possible. Drink lots of water and eat as healthy as you can to help build your energy up again. Get as much sleep as possible too
