Labor Story:

I was scheduled to be induced at 8pm Sunday 2/22. I didn't get into a room til 845 because they was short of staff. She hooked me up to the monitors and as she was giving me the pill that suppose to help soften my cervix I was having contractions that I couldn't feel. she checked me and I was 1cm and 30% effaced. four hours later I had taking the second dose of the pill. At 6am they checked I was still at 1cm but 50% effaced. I was start on pitocin. at 11am I was 2cm and still 50% effaced he broke my water. at 12pm my contractions begin to hurt and the lady request for epidural. The man comes in and he like it oooh you are very small he couldn't get the thread in the right spot because my space was so close together so I got poked about 9times 6 of those was to numb the spot for the epidural. he finally gets it in after 45 mins of poking and relaxing but it is great!! my bottom stomach down to my feet was numb but I could still move. I got checked again and I was at 3cm 50% effaced. I tried taking a nap since I was left alone at this moment. this is the time I'm left with the nurse from hell she doesn't come check on me and she keeps saying my baby heart dropping when she was just moving off the monitor. I get checked at 6 and I'm at 4-5 cm 90% effaced he guessed that I would go into labor at 9 my epi begins to wear off on everything except the inside of my you know what. He checks me at 8 and I'm 7cm and 90% he said if I haven't progress in a hour and the epi don't kick in we will do a c section. well I didn't progress so now they begin to prep me for the operation room I get sick am shaking very bad I'm scared for my life well once I get in there this man is talking to me and then I see my beautiful baby face and she kissing me and screaming once she doesn't see me anymore. I had a cyst on my right ovary so they did surgery to remove it as well while I was already cut open I blank out I'm in a new room no one around but two old ladies I go back to sleep I wake up and my doctor says I will see u in the morning they roll me to my now station room and I finally get to hold my baby its now 12am. Sorry for it being so long.
