fyi ladies!! mierna (the birth control) gives you the worst cramps and you bleed for forever!! its like the world's longest damn period and the cramps hurt so bad!!! 😭😭😭 I see my bf after 10 months.. on Thursday.. and I'm willing to bet I will still be bleeding and won't be able to have sex. awesome. been bleeding for 5 weeks!!! 😭😭😭😭 when the hell will it stop??!?!?!?!!

I bled for a few weeks and then went to only spotting about every six weeks. its thinning the uterine lining all the way out so some women bleed longer.

I had it and my sex would be painful sometimes. And my bf would feel the string that hangs down like a pin. He says it was uncomfortable. Sometimes I spotted too. Everyone's different but just a heads up.

yeah that's different from how mine was. I did cramp for a few days after insertion. my periods were so light I could wear a liner. before the mirena they were awful. I stayed doubled over in pain and had to wear a tampon and a pad.

I had it for the 1st year after I had my 3yr old & I had bleeding on & off for the entire year! I hated that thing & my hubby said he could feel the strings, it was horrible!
