So I'm a little confused. I woke up with some bleeding and they sent me to L&D triage. They did a bunch of tests and an ultrasound. Everything came back normal. But I have a UTI. When we were leaving the nurse said I have no idea why he's giving you this because it came back negative on the test for BV. So now idk if I should take that antibiotics or not? I took the one for the UTI but idk if I need the other one.

@rlcorreia123, The doctor didn't know why I was getting it. Someone higher up told him he had to. It was so confusing. lol

I believe they have it to you because the antibiotic can cause the PH balance in your vigina to become upset.

@firefly, I think that might be it. I even double checked to make sure the test came back negative.

this way they are preventing it with the other antibiotic for BV. Good luck with everything
