ok ladies....tmi.....so i got my mirena like 2 weeks ago almost....this past week i cramp really bad and night and bleed....i assumed this was my first period since having my baby....ok soooooo when i bleed it is like dark.....its not red or pink or brown its black....when i wipe its red and in my pad is black....is this normal? have any of yall experienced this?

I'd call your dr just to be sure. This is my first pregnancy so idk about after a baby. But I've had periods where the blood was black on the pad but red when I wiped.

I haven't gotten it yet but i told my doctor i planned on getting it and these are all things he warned me about happening and he said its normal for a few weeks but you should still call and make sure. good luck
