Dear Preggies:

In the next few days a new version of Preggie will be released. One key new feature is email-based registration only, which means you will no longer be able to log in via Facebook, in order to increase the safety/privacy features we're all focused on.

We would like to remind you to check your settings and make sure that your email address is in there. Otherwise you will not be able to access your account going forward, in case you log out - accidentally or otherwise.

This post will pop up in your feed every day until the new version is released. If your email and password are already in the settings, you're OK - just ignore this.

Apart from the change to the log-in procedure, the new version includes:

• Email-based password reminder

• Pregnancy term and location listed with photos in the feed

• New user lists with "quick follow" buttons

• Ability to blacklist or follow a user right in the feed (left swipe to reveal buttons)

Dear Preggies, Great news! In a few hours or sooner, we're releasing our new version of Preggie (1.6.0) for iPhones and Android. We've redesigned the registration and new user entry into the app. To improve the security and privacy of Preggie, we've canceled the ability to register through Facebook and other social networks. If you used social networks to sign up and do not remember or have a password, please email us at kate@preggieapp.com We hope this doesn't cause you any inconvenience. We're here to help if you have problems logging in! Also, we'll have these new features: - Pregnancy term and the location of the user now appear in the newsfeeds. - The user lists and the newsfeed menu now contain a "quick follow" button We want Preggie to be the safest, most welcoming and supportive place there is for moms and moms-to-be.
