this is how I got my daughter to use her it was hard it sucked and I was a zombie but it took two weeks of letting her cry to get use to it. I lost a lot of sleep but now I sleep through the night. I hope what you try works. but I hope I helped if you choose to try what I did
I just got my son to stay in his crib, since i had him sleep in my arms at first, but what I did was put a warm like thick blanket underneath him because they just need the warmth and i swaddled him, i would let him fall asleep in my arms then i would place him in the crib, he caught on at first but after 3 or 4 times it stuck

I also rolled up receiving and tucked them under her as well it made her feel like she was being held. @sexii_diiva
