Ok I was sick a lot during the being of my pregnancy I had two jobs but neither really gave me any hrs so I decided yesterday I didn't like sitting around doing nothing all day so I applied for a job at McDonald's ( not my first choice or dream job but felt like it would help until I had my baby ) I got a call back maybe 3/4 hrs after my app went in and they scheduled me and interview I kinda got excited lbs i told my friend and I feel like she talked down on my choice to apply at McDonald's I graduated high school early 2012 @ 17 and went straight to college and having a baby and working at McDonald's was never my plan for myself but I'm going to do whatever I can to make sure my baby is well taken care of ( her dad has an awesome job and my mom and his mom are also super supportive I just felt I was being the least to the table with only getting 70/100$ checks ) but my feeling was hurt cause I'm trying and I feel like all my friends ( or ppl I thought where my friends ) are looking down on me ! Sorry about the long story but just sad and wanted to tell someone ! Wish me look on my interview next Wednesday !

Good luck girl. A job is a job. Some people just turn their nose up at fast food jobs.

yes a job is a job. I have a degree in medical assisting but right out of school I found out I was pregnant. & trying to get a job was hard. By the time places started calling me for interviews I was getting big & they was turning me down. I wrk at papa johns right now just to bring in some type of money. so don't be sad or feel down. good luck on that interview.

girl I'm a housekeeper. people turn their noses up at me all the time. but it was the only option at the time and I took it. you're living your life for you. and now for your little one. and doing what you feel is best at this moment in time. you never know what new opportunities may come from this.

You're being a mom and doing what you gotta do. So you got a job at McDonalds cause you're bored. That's the least of your worries right now. And hey you are a big person to apply for and take that job and an even bigger person for being happy about it. To hell with anyone that is gonna hate on you for getting a job.

Good luck on the interview hope you get the job!! A job is a job at least you are gonna be making some money to take care of your baby don't let someone make you feel any.less cause of it
