Will he sleep on his tummy? Thats the only way I could get any of my kids to sleep outside the bed at night but of course I kept a close look out on them, made sure their faces was free of any objects and blankets.

mines does the same thing ... I tried tummy n he still won't sleep

@charisma_shay yes he will sleep on his stomach but scared to leave him like that over night... but he moves his head from left to right by himself but I'm too paranoid....

I understand I was paranoid at first to but I started it in the bed with me first then moved them over to the bassinet once I felt comfy enough to leave them sleep that way over night. @sexii_diiva

tuck a nice fluffy blanket under him. my son falls asleep in his quick cuz the bassinet he slept in at tge hospital had the same flat mattress. but i had this problem with my daughter so i would put her in her crib laying on her boppy pillow, sge would not sleep without it

@charisma_shay how old is your baby? @bree31 yea he sleeps on the boppy pillow now.. in our bed. I actually thought of that but idk looks dangerous

yea I let my baby sleep like that when I'm awake but not when I'm sleep @charisma_shay you have a blanket at the bottom? tucked?

No its on top of the mattress I just folded a real thick one in half. @sexii_diiva To be more safe though you could put it underneath.

my son won't sleep in his bassinet, he just sleeps with me .. he sleeps a lot better too :)

underneath the cover that the bassinet came with? well sheet really..whatever it is..

oo wait you have your own cover & tucked it right? if that's right that's what I'm thinking of doing

@caydensmommy yes mine too...but you know its supposed to be dangerous... so I really wanna switch him...specially because my husband in bed as well

I know the doctors say that, but he's been sleeping with me since day 1. He's perfectly fine! I even read an article somewhere that babies are better sleeping with their moms because of certain reasons

@caydensmommy yea I understand... I think they just say that for precaution reasons such as rolling over baby and stuff like that

@sexii_diiva, yes I used my own blanket and you can tuck it on top or put it underneath which ever way you feel comfortable with. them lil matts they come with are so thin and the there is the lil hard board at the bottom I think they be uncomfortable.

Last night we put receiving blankets & a fuzzy one over the mat in the bassinet and he slept in it for the first time

yea i put a few blankets tucked in over that mattress its so thin ...does he bassi vibrate ?

I put the soft pillow from off my bed in her bassinet, she sleeps on it comfortably on her back plus it has my scent on it so she does not think I'm far away

@sexii_diiva, yeah I got a lil 2.99 regular size soft pillow from walmart

man im so glad I wasnt the only one dealing with this problem...I finally got her to sleep a little longer in there with a blanket wrapped around the basinett pillow but my mom is gonna get a thicker basinett pillow. honestly I think since my breast milk is getting thicker it makes her sleep longer too.
