really starting to freak out about Labor 😖 any advice you ladies have to help make it a little more relaxing??
soon as I went to hospital... I went because I was in pain...once they said it was contractions && I was in labor they moved me from triage to delivery room && then they gave it to me right away . it was like 12pm... I had my baby at 10pm
@sexii_diiva, 😱 how long did you wait before getting epidural? sorry for all the questions lol 😳
hell yea... I thought I had real bad gas. then it started getting worse && worse ....it was bearable but the shyt hurt... but I'm sure if I waited a few more hours I would have felt like I was dying lol
@sexii_diiva, were contractions super painful before you got your epidural??
@channie03, thanks for the advice! were you dilated any when you went into labor?
@channie03, I expect the worse!! there is some stories that freak me out to the max lol 😱
Just push as if your constipated and it will go by quick and easy. Everyone told me it would be hard but a nurse told me over and over before I went into labor to push as if I was constipated and just to keep pushing hard and it would be easy and it was! Lol
yes you will shake a lot. women even shake sometimes with a natural. its like you have the chills but aren't cold.
I got the epidural at 5cm dilated , my contractions didn't hurt me at all it just felt like light light cramps, just an annoying little pain not really painful but at 5 cm dilated they started hurting so I asked for the epidural and an hour later I was at 10 cm dilated and pushed for 20 minutes. It wasn't hard or painful at all. Only thing that I can warn you about is the shaking you get after from the epidural
I've had one natural birth and three with epi. Natural is great if you can do it but I say why hurt if you don't need to.
they can be but not always. out of my four kids I only had severe pain with one before my water was broke. with the others no pain until the doctor broke my water. they hurt really bad but you just have to breathe through them. you can usually get the epi at 4cm.
@junebaby, are the first contractions really painful? because I wanna hold off on the epidural as long as I can
don't get the Iv pain meds. they make you feel loopy and don't help the pain at all. just get the epidural and you'll be good. you'll feel a lot of pressure when its time to push and that's normal.
