Obgyn or midwife? I know there is pros and cons to be both. But I wanna hear opinions. Thanks ladies ❤

depends what kinda birth u want midwife is better for natural births

Idk I didn't pick like that. Lol. I go to a OB office but my doctor is a nurse midwife. just in a office I guess. I like going to the office. give me a chance to get out the house. & she really good at making you feel comfortable.

OB Gyn is a surgeon not too excited for normal births...midwife is for normal and natural births.... I'd say Midwife. It's like 2 different worlds just depends on your preference. Midwives still have to follow the health rules but are a lot different in terms of their approach on the way they provide prenatal care rather then your typical OBgyn to me is like a walk in clinic doctor during pregnancy and midwife is more like your family doctor

I have a midwife (started with an obstetrician til about 16 weeks or so I can't remember) I love my midwife but next time around I'm going with an ob. Mainly just to see the difference. But also.. Bc I haven't had an ultrasound since 20 weeks and I have GD. My cervixs has not been checked. And my primary went on vacay while my secondary is waiting on hospital privileges (she recently switched to our clinic) I can still see my secondary in clinic but I'm suppose to switch from primary to secondary every second app and I've seen my secondary the last 4 app. Basically they've just been really unorganized and it's annoying. They are great with giving you lots and lots of information and answering all kinds of questions but I think the second time around ide like an ob to see the difference. I'm just worried that something is wrong or could go wrong and without an ultrasound or internal exam they might miss it. I have GD what if my baby's 10 lbs right now!?

I pick midwives. I had a ob in the beginning of my pregnancy & I hated her! She was very nonchalant & didn't really took my question serious.she always say " relax" ugh now I have midwives & I go to my dr with page long of question she take her time answer me & even give me more info. I was scared to give birth now I want a natural waterbirth because of them great support system I ❤️😍 midwives

I have an OB and I love him.. He's very informative and seems like he really cares about me and my baby. He considers me high risk and sent me to a specialist to get ultrasounds every time I see him. He takes very good care of me. If I ever get pregnant again, I will go back to him. I can see some OBGYN's being awesome and I can also see some Midwives being awesome. It's just about finding the right one lol.
