I'm scared of the dark too! once my honey tried scaring me in the dark and I started crying and he hasn't done that since.

I'm pretty sure you can control the lights in your room😊And the hallway lights usually have every other light on at night too. Never pitch black!

@18andpregnant, anything can happen in the dark..I can't see what's around me or what's going on..that's the main reason but I have plenty..

@jstrong12712, makes sense. I was just asking bc I took a phycology class and usually your afraid of something bc of something g when your younger. like if something bad happen in the dark when you where little your more likely to be scared of it when older.

@18andpregnant, long story, mostly due to the fact I suffered from extremely vivid and realistic night terrors, dealt with sleep paralysis, etc. it got to where I wouldn't sleep for 2-3 days at a time because I was terrified. it's gotten better, but I still can't be in the dark

yeah, I had my lasy one at about 20-21, and I'm 24 now so I've had them a long time.

I have no idea honestly I wasnt even scared when I was younger I asked my mom if I was she said no. it honestly just started happen the past couple years I think when I moved into my own place and I love to watch horror movies and thrillers stuff like that and in the movies something always happens in the dark when they are home alone so it kind of stuck to me that when my bf isn't home and it's dark in the house I kind of freak my self out

yes it never fails I always think that I'm hearing stuff so I turn the hall light on and the light above the stove on and leave the TV in my room in until I fall asleep.
