am I wrong for being mad at my boyfriend?
my birthday is on Thursday and he said we can't go out and do anything unless I pay for it cause he doesn't have the money... he just spent $160 on his phone (a new case and getting his screen fixed) and that was all the money we had to last us until we get paid on Thursday... so I scheduled myself a massage and he said it wasn't fair so I called and switched it to a couples massage. now he's trying to tell me where he wants to go eat and stuff on MY birthday. he's never gotten me a birthday gift... this is the 4th year in a row.... it's really starting to get to me because I spend TONS of money on his birthday every year. and for his birthday I'm buying tickets to take him to oakland's opening day (his favorite mlb team and something he's always wanted). I just feel like breaking down cause I feel like I'm not good enough anymore....

He is selfish , now if he doesn't do what you want on your birthday don't do anything for his & see how he feels .

@hazel_marie, I thought about it but I'm too nice. regaurdless I'm going to get him something because I feel guilty. I just wish he would do something for me

my bf does the same thing.... last year I got him a Playstation and new shoes and for my birthday all I got was a movie and cheap dinner... so this year I got him 4 clearance shirts. believe me once you give him a dose of his own medicine he'll notice
