is it true that preterm labor runs in families? Bc I was born early I'm not sure how early but I was only 3 lbs 13 oz. does that mean my baby has a chance of being early? I didn't think it did but I see a lot of ladies saying it does

my mom has 6kids nd only her first nd her last she carried full term, then again she was doing a lot of stuff she wasn't suppose to be doing with the other 4. She told me to watch out for pre term labor (I was born 2lb nd a few ounces ) I guess we will have to see.

It does in mine all 6 of my mothers kids are premature and my daughter is trying to come out

I've always wondered that too! my MIL had 9 total & 8 of them were preemies. I almost had my daughter at 32w and they had to stop my labor so I wondered if that might be why

yes it has to do with the mothers side. so if your mom had preterm labor chances are higher that you will, same goes for breach babies as well
