Does anyone know what times calling hours are in jail?? My boyfriend hasn't been transferred yet and…

It depends on the jail, you'll have to call the jail and ask

I agree that he is irresponsible for what he's done to me and the baby but he's in jail for something that happened a little over 3 years ago

@lp1988727, it was for driving under the influence (marijuana) and reckless driving causing serious injury (his ex was in a halo for 3 months) and the state is using him to set an example for others. ): his lawyer was definitely not worth the $15,000 he got for doing nothing. & that would be awesome if I was closer. My cousin actually got married in Pennsylvania and her in laws are all there.

it depends on jail but it sounds like he's in state prison (I could be wrong) and my bf was in state prison not too long ago in the morning he would usually call between 8-3 and then they get out again at exactly 6:30 until about 9-10 my bf use to call me everyday at 6:30 but on I think it was either Wednesday or Thursday thy go to the gyms so he would call until about 730 and sometimes my bf would get out at 6 instead of 630 but it was usually always 630 and if he doesn't call sometimes don't worry I use to get freaked out he got in a fight in jail or something but they have a lot of lockdowns in jail and they can't leave their rooms to get to the phone

@nikki11st, he's in the county jail right now then he gets transferred somewhere and they'll decide what prison he'll go to. Hopefully it'll be the minimal security level and he'll only be 30 minutes away.

really well timing mightbe different but it kind a sounds the same cause u said he called at 630 and 3 and that's when my bf use to call the calls can be so expensive tho it depends what phone company the jail uses but when my man was in state prison it was a dollar for the first minute and 10¢ every minute after that so each phone call would be like $3 for 20 minutes on the phone and 20 minutes goes by soo fast it was so hard for me when my bf was in jail for 3 months of my pregnancy I'm so sorry u have to go through this

@nikki11st, I don't remember what the first minute is but its like 38cents after that right now. But if I pay its like $15 for 20 minutes. I'm praying he gets out sooner! Idk how I'm going to go through birth and everything else by myself. I'll have my family but it's not the same, I want her daddy to be there ):

wow that's even more expensive than mine but I do remember once my bf was in the town jail over the weekend and I owe them like $100 for legit 4 calls its ridiculous I still haven't paid it because they lied to me about the prices and I don't have $100 to pay it off! and yeah it is really hard I was so sad for he first month or so like I literally cried all the time and had to force myself to eat cause I was just so depressed I wasnt hungry it was so hard but it gets easier as the days go on luckily ur not 30 weeks or something so u have a lil time ad I hope he gets out before then ! stay strong I'm always here if u need to talk my bf might be going to jail for up to 7yrs two weeks after my baby's born and even if its not 7yrs we are pretty sure its gonna be at least a year or two his trial is schedule for 2 weeks after my due date so I hope I don't go over due but I can relate somewhat t what ur going through so u can always talk to me 😊

@nikki11st, his sentence is 5 years but his lawyer said it will drop to 8 months to 2 & 1/2 years. I hope it's only a couple months... we asked his lawyer if his ex could write a letter saying she's fine and her life isn't altered from the accident and he said it wouldn't matter and now his lawyer is telling us to write letters and point out that he hasn't been in trouble before. Like wtf you told us it wouldn't matter before and now your telling us it'll help?! Ugh I hate his lawyer. I've hardly left my bed and I need to apply for new jobs but no one is going to want to hire a pregnant girl ): & I'm here for you too if you ever need someone to talk too!

Just always make sure u have money on your phone. While my boyfriend was in County it was like he could call me any time. I didn't necessarily ask tho. But he called me at all different times so just always have money ready.

@kirstenxoxo, I made an account yesterday because I missed his call at 10. But when he called me again I told him and he said he made an account too so I don't have to pay for it anymore.

I really hope it drops or they give him probation its so hard getting those phone calls and knowing u have to get off and can't see them 😢 lawyers suck like one time I went into court when he was locked up cause that was the only place I got to see him from across the court room (since I'm involved in one of his cases I can't visit him at the jails at the time) and when I got there his lawyer told me my bf wasn't coming in that day and I said are u sure cause he told me he was coming in no matter what and the lawyer told me yeah I called the jail there was a problem with his paper work and he deff wasn't coming in then I left and called the court and turns out he did come in that day I was so upset I cried so lawyers don't care about anyone cause they're getting paid either way I'm glad u finally got to hear from ur bf 😆
