son getting out of car seat

So a couple days ago my son started getting himself out of his car seat while we are on the road. He will be 2 years old May 27th. He pushes the chest clip all the way down and pulls his arms and shoulders out of the straps but is still buckled at the waist. Today he did it 4 times, we had to pull over every time. What a day! I took my husband's car to work which I never do. He drove my car last night so I couldn't find my keys. Then I get to work and we end up leaving late because I had to finish an audit. Am I wrong to be upset? Last night I was running a fever, weak, tired, sore, my left boob feels like it got used as a punching bag.
