ok i know ive been very annoying today but this q is serious for a while i had a lump on my areola that kept getting bigger and bigger and hard under the skin so i squeezed it one day and it took me five mins to drain out all the little strings of puss that came out...well that made it alot smaller, well a couple days latwr i check on it and a tiny bit of brownish red stuff comes out of it? like a teeny tiny drop, should i be worried?

my only advice would be to show youe doctor. that sounds painful!

could of been a pimple.. the little blood meaning healing..I'd ask the doctor about it

definitely show your dr. you do have glands on your areola. I can't remember what they are called but they fill with amniotic fluid to help lubricate everything for breastfeeding. I have some too and was worried at first but I researched and when I went to a breastfeeding class last week they brought them up. said best not to drain because it can cause infection...
