best bassinet features? one that glides and has a mobile, one that sits still, one that sits still and has a mobile....idk. I want one that glides and has a mobile but none of them are offered in stores and we have to get it today. so my husband is saying just get a sturdy sit still one. but my issue is we don't have a swing so I'll already be holding him ALL day since I don't have a swing to put him in and now I'll have to hold him all night as well because I can almost guarantee he won't want to lay in a bed that doesn't move nor does it have anything to look at or focus on. my husband thinks it's no issue and I'm overreacting but he doesn't have to be the one to put him to sleep every night and take care of him every day... he goes to school and gets to sleep when he wants to because he needs the rest for his classes =/. so he won't be the one who's up all hours of the night rocking a baby who doesn't want to lay in a still bassinett.

And on top of that he's SUPER against pacifiers so I'll DEFINITELY be up all night every night with him. I don't care if he uses a pacifier but since my husband has two daughters who never used them, he's against them altogether and doesn't want our son to use one either. so I told him I'll try to go along with his wish but I bet you ladies I'll say fuck it and let him have one.

try to find a stand still one with a vibration feature its a life saver it puts my son to sleep so I don't have to constantly hold him

I'm a big believer in sleeping with your baby. No separation issues, the closeness is wonderful and I feel totally aware of my baby even when I'm asleep. Far less crying, too. 💖

Cosleepers are great for when you leave your baby in bed and I always line the floor around the bed with big pillows just in case.

My husband would squash the baby. he's a very deep sleeper, moves around a lot and would not wake up if he rolled over him. there's no way I'm Co sleeping like that.
