not really. the first book has a lot of sex scenes that I think most ppl thought were "taboo" and for it to be writing is where all the hype came from lol Zane did the same thing..it's just her books wasn't about BDSM. but the other fifty shades books focus a lot more on their relationship. There's an actual whole storyline that's pretty good @alicia91

I didn't finish the first one but I do know it's sex sex sex

it took me a while to get through the first one lol I started it in college then stopped cause the writing was horrible. I'm a writer and I just couldn't get into it. I most def like Zane books lol but I recently read them all and there not so bad. it's a lot of unnecessary descriptions but I love the chemistry between them. once you get past the sex in book 1 you'll be more into them rather then the sex lol @alicia91

I have read and enjoyed all the 3! There is a story to it, it's not just kinky sex lol I'm hoping the movie is decent
