yes, if you just slowly wean him it'll dry up slower and will be less painful.

it is uncomfortable though.

he gets a bottle a day of breastmilk.. in the morning my boobs are full so I pump and get about 5 oz and that's his morning meal the rest of the day is formula

ok your milk should start to decrease a lot then.

I really wanted to do it longer tho but it's so time consuming and he was always hungry and when I had to go out i had to make sure it was enough milk for him.. it took me 3 days to pump enough milk while I was gonna be gone @sexii_diiva

damn... yea.. that's why I'm not breastfeed... I know its good for baby but its very time consuming && you have to have patience with that

I enjoyed it because it gave me a special bond with him and knowing it was good for him kept me going and it was good for me too but now I'm just over it I'm upset with myself for quitting so soon but Idk I have mixed emotions @sexii_diiva

like I said give yourself props that you at least tried... they have people like me that's not trying at all.. lol breastfeeding isn't for everyone and at least you got some bonding time.. its best to breast feed a little while even if its only a month rather then nothing.. you did a great job with that..I promise your baby will love you the same 😘

If you decide you want to stop there is nothing wrong with that! For me personally I found breastfeeding painful and frustrating.. But I stuck with it and I am so happy I did. I feel good knowing he's getting something made just for him! They cluster feed in the beginning to establish milk production! And it gets easier as time goes on! I suggest seeing a lactation consultant if you really want to continue :) I did and found out why I was having pain and got help! The decision is yours and you will have a bond with your baby either way! Do what's right for you and your baby

Mine hurt for like 3 days so I pumped and then I just stopped and it didn't hurt at all for me..

Then just pump like once a day n it'll stop. Mine took a week to stop leaking but I pumped like once or twice n it's gone now

I feel like pumping will just make me produce more. I thought you were supposed to leave them alone til it stops Idk how this works.. they are pretty full right now and leaking I don't want to pump and then make even more milk ya kno ugh Idk!

No you have to pump that out or it'll get engorged n that's worse. Pump it out like once a day to get it out and then it'll stop
