soo ive never told any of my employers the medical condition i have because i never had it intefer with my work..well now that im pregnant it has been effecting me causing me to miss work..so my question is, how do i let my boss know of this without it sounding like an excuse to not work??. im so confused and scared as to what she will say/think. has anyone ever gone through this??.

have ur doc write a note so u don't look like ur lying to inform ur employer of ur current condition

my doctor wont do that cuz he said that it would be like breaking confidentiality i asked the last time i was at the hospital but he said he would provide information once ive told them myself ...i just wish i had the paperwork before then. @princessz21

oh that's dumb it shouldn't be breaking confidentiality if ur giving consent but I guess things work different than we would like ... n yes I feel u I would want back up evidence as well @seleneromanortiz12

yeah thats what i thought too but then i guess i see their point of view..theyre just trying to cover their butts but either way im finding it hard telling them or finding a way without proof or sounding like a complete total excuse or flat out lie @princessz21
