People are telling me to not worry about a baby registry because know one actually gets the stuff off of them.

They do get some things plus it's a nice way to answer - what do you really want or need? You also can get coupons closer to your due date for unpurchased items from your registery.

they do get the stuff on it but they most of the time they don't purchase it off your registry.

not even that but everything on your regristry is discounted and you have up to a year to return without having the receipts...so if u get a highchair u don't like but didn't try it out till hella later u can still return or exchange for something else.. its like 10-25% off when u use your regristry I have two kids and am on #3 I always tell my party to USE THE REGRISTRY lol

I got everything off my registry. Granted got a lot of clothes and didnt register for any but that was a given....people love buying baby clothes. I had 4 surprise baby showers and got everything. I would do one...i always appreciated a registry as a non mom when invited to a shower because i had no clue what babies needed.

I did it because we are letting people know he doesn't need clothes, & it'll be something to go off of.

you can do it if you want... its no harm.... but yes I had 63 items.. only 5 were purchased... but if I wanna buy them myself I'll get a percentage off for even getting a registry thru them... at baby's r us at least
