@rachelmariecroxton, all food, and drinks turn into milk. But by viruses I've had a cold a few times since tan was born and he's never gotten sick the virus doesn't get passed but any kind of antibodies you create get passed so if you have a cold and you fight it off, you've passed antibodies to your baby. So if the virus is sill floating around the house like your husband got it. Your baby is less likely to get sick.

Actually the virus or cold DOESNT get transferred to your baby, the antibodies that your immune system creates gets transferred. So having a cold and breastfeeding is actually great for your baby because it give them antibodies without them needing to have the cold.

Ask your pediatrician though just to be sure but it was ok when I breastfed my kids.
