My bf is sooooo upset he doesn't even wanna talk about names. I mean I understand a little bit but this is still our baby. You still have to love him regardless. I fell in love with this little boy the moment I saw his face. I can't even describe the feeling felt. I just want him to feel how I feel.. But he's so disappointed it hurts my feelings 😳😥

@jellybeansmommie, I know its hard being set on a girl n having a boy it feels like u were threw off I went thru the same thing I feel him but give him time he will get used to the idea

aww ... im sure he will be over excited in a few days poor guy .. i went tru this my dude wanted a boy so bad cux we already had a girl he was kinda sad when they said girl it took him forever to be happy about her

@jellybeansmommie, my boyfriend wanted a boy at first, then we (me, his mom & sis) convinced him he wanted a girl but when he found out we were having a boy he was so excited. he'll come around. I'm sorry you're both going through this.

yea he will come around... you actually took the news really good... a lot of people don't take that as well.. its more of the fact you already bought stuff && had the name picked out && just knew it was a girl... so he probably is hurt.... I would have been... but of course I'd get over it

Dads don't really "get it" until after birth. My (ex)husband was wanting a boy, and he got his wish. But he was never all that excited during pregnancy. Think of pregnancy as nature's way of making sure we, as mothers, fall in love with our baby so that they get fed and taken care of. Not to say that fathers aren't important in raising a child, but mothers are the one with that first instinct to protect baby at all cost. He will get there, just give it time. :)
