Soo my amniotic fluid came back still high but it did lower a little. Doctors are doing blood tests to make sure baby is ok, which they are 99.9% sure he is because I was diagnosed with GD and high amniotic fluid goes hand in hand with that. So that being said, we will be monitored weekly and have ultrasounds done, kind of nervous but at least I get to see my handsome more often! They also said preterm labor also goes in hand with GD & high amniotic fluid so hubby and I are going to register at our hospital by this weekend😊💋xo

so i am not creeping but seen you posted on a comment about GD well im possibly GD too!! i get my machine to check my blood tommorow and talk more to my doctor. this week wasnt a good week!! i have questions about GD if you dont mind

@pruisbianca, yay okay😀 ! first my question is did your doctor tell you it will go away after you have your baby love? and 2nd is it possible that you will have him early because of GD?

Yesss she said it will totally go away after I have my son but it does mean in future pregnancies I'll have it and I'm just at higher risk for devolving type 2 diabetes later on in life & yes because my amniotic fluid is higher than average & having GD might cause pre term labor so were always on baby watch & have our bags packed just in case😊 @firsttimemomma

okay thats the good news :) im glad your able to have it go away soon! im doctor said the same thing.im gonna talk to him more about it today and pick my machine up. i was prettty much soo sad that i failed both my glue close tests i felt like i failed my son. its weird because my mom kept telling me that im gonna have him early then my due date and hes gonna be a big baby.
so since we have this that means our babys are healthy right? like they estill gain weight neeeded. im excited to see when i go into labor @pruisbianca

I felt the same way and even cried in doctors offices about it and they assured me it was nothing I did to myself or my body. What happens is, your placenta produces hormones.. So certain hormones react to sugar and insulin. Your bodies still producing insulin but not enough bc the insulin is trying to get through to your cells and your cells are just not opening the door for it.. So I've found going on short walks daily and eating healthy and portioned has helped me control it! ☺️ and yes our babies are perfectly fine! As long as they're gaining weight and not under weight😀 just curious, my baby is 3 pounds right now and I'm 29 weeks and 3 days, how about yours? @firsttimemomma
