It's a bit ridiculous that it took them almost 2 months to mail me my Medicaid acceptance letter...…

I never even got my card! I have to tell everybody my social and look it up.

You can go online & check your medicaid account info & get the medicaid id # & write it down & use it instead of your social...If you don't have the card.

Also was told I needed my cousin in laws income to apply for food stamps because I live with him even though I was the one applying and he doesn't support me...

well when I applied years back. I had to tell them I eat separate from the person I was living with. I had a roommate .. so I didn't have to claim my roomate

they told me it was because he is family and I live with him.. I told them that we buy food for us, but he eats it without asking even if we tell him no. ''Well, since you're supporting eachother '' apparently, me telling someone no you can't have that is supporting then... whatever. @sexii_diiva

I can't... they'll give me the same caseworker... She's already got my info and everything.. /: I'm gonna go apply for wic now though. since I qualify for Medicaid I'll qualify for wic. and thatll give me the main stuff I need. I'm just so sick of dealing with these bitchy ass people... All of them act like they are better then me because they have money and don't need wic and free insurance and food stamps... girl forget them people....you do what you need to do for your family... shyt I'm married && I stopped wking a decent job right before we got married && I applied for all that stuff.. but it sure is helping us out a lot right now since I have no source of income... of course I wanna be in a better position but we gotta do what we gotta do.. && it sucks because you have to lie to the system.. they have so many people cheating the system that it makes it hard for the ones who are really trying to get out of this hard time their in to get some assistance.. its real crooked!! they have people that be on stamps for 10 yrs.. && living off the system but then someone like you can't even get it for a few months. its real sad
