if you want it done i would ask and see if your doctor will do it. some doctors wont offer it. it takes them like 10-15 seconds @sexii_diiva
my doctor always offered to do it... last week i had to see my doctors partner and she offered also. @sexii_diiva
@mommybump3 is this something you ask for or they just do it?
@kayla02, Ohhh yeah my doctor never mentioned it either! I just think the baby will come when it wants to lol. I get induced at 41 weeks though if no baby.
wow yeah i thought its been longer than that haha!! I also had it done with my last pregnancy and i didnt feel any pain than eaither :) @kayla02
@mommybump3, u had it done at 37 weeks . I'm going to the doctor on Thursday again I'll ask about it.
sometimes I feel ready and sometimes I don't . I just see alot of post about stuff like this about inducing labor and it makes me wonder if it really works I have a 3 yr old n I never heard of this @alexandrajoy13
iv had it done it doesnt hurt im my opinion.. im hoping my doc will do another one tomorrow!

it can help you when you get induced. i had one 3 days before i got induced with my last. (idk how it helps though lol but i know it does) & no it has never hurt me @sexii_diiva it feels like they are checking the cervix just maybe a slight difference in "pain" but really there is no pain. idk if that makes since sorry
