my boys took similac and enfamil with iron and did very well. my girls took isomil and prosobee because they couldn't tolerate the milk based formula. the soy formula stinks but it worked very well for my girls.

nova could not poop with all the iron. I wouldn't recommend it. it upsets there stomach and they have to push so hard. I tried a few. gerber soy is amazing. its worked great. Shes not fussy she sleeps good eats all of it and can poop

I agree that the iron formulas can cause constipation. I think I had switched my youngest son over to the gentle ease formula. Its been years though so my memory gets foggy.

my son was also on the Gerber soy because of lactose intolerance. he handled it wonderfully. my god - daughters all used Gerber soothe and never had problems either.
