Ugh I tested positive for group b strep 😞 this sucks ass.

its really common. they will just give you antibiotics when your in labor.

I think like 1 out of 4 women has it.

@sexii_diiva, I'm allergic to penicillin. Idk wtf they're gonna do bc that's what they use to treat it

You just get an iv during delivery that's all and some antibiotics it's a bacteria that lives in our intestines and it comes from the meats we eat but because we are women and wipe the bacteria spreads to the Gina and can make baby sick, no biggie though

@mrssabby, @ashleyrdz @junebaby so they should have something else to treat it besides penicillin or amoxicillin

they have other antibiotics to treat it so don't worry.

they probably know what to do because a lot of people are allergic to penicillin!! did you ask? or you still there?

@jellybeansmommie, what does penicillin do to you, they have tons of antibiotics and if that's it then they can give you the antibiotics and a allergy cocktail too but they will work it out

@mrssabby, I'm gonna make sure EVERYBODY knows they won't kill me in tht damn hospital lmao. but Idk what it does to me. Its an allergy my mom caught really early when I had chicken pox or something so I don't remember ever using it but she said it made me sick. This is rely the first time since then I've needed antibiotics. I'm typically petty healthy which is why this sucks 😞

I'm gonna ask her today. When I was doing my prescreening she asked. I told her i didn't really know bc it had been so long since I needed them. I'm paranoid now ugh.

@jellybeansmommie, naw don't be paranoid if ur mom can't answer what it does to you they will still give it, but with allergy meds to make sure you don't have a reaction
