yup what she said a week before that's what my doctor told me I'm due April 30th but install to my doctor and see if I can do natural birth this time around.

my water broke at 37 weeks with my son when i found out I was in laboring was 5cm I stopped at 8cm so the doctor decided for a Csection... I been planning ever since I got pregnant again but it's been almost three years since I had my son so I'm try to do it natural if it don't work out that way then I'll be having a section.

most often they do a week before because they don't want you to go into labor and they don't like to take baby any earlier unless medically necessary.

no, but if it does break they have to do one pretty soon after to avoid infection and labor. are you having a c-section.

mine have all been vaginal but only once did my water break on its own and I was dilated to a 7 before it did.

once stopped at 8 cm it was only a few hours most women are in labor for 24 why do you think the doctor decided for a cs ection...maybe of I had a risk bc they didn't tell me I was just crying bc I was scared lol @junebaby

I'm my opinion doctors do too many c-sections because they don't want to wait around for mom to progress naturally. I don't know your situation though. I could understand if the baby or mother appeared to be in distress of if it had been several hours and the baby just wouldn't fit through.

my recovery was fine for it being a csection just never slept on my bed it was hard getting out to get the baby so I stayed in the living room. had pain like every women will have if they get a c section. I didnt take my pain medicine till I was I crying didn't want to take it every 3-6 hours however much it said to take don't remember.@seleneromanortiz12,

yea I been thinking that, I do want to do it vaginal this time, just scared if I might have a risk but all in time when it does happen then @junebaby

@seleneromanortiz12, the hardest part will be recovery. it'll be hard to get around for several days. just make sure you have some extra help.

well the only reason why im having a csection is because i have a neural tube defect called spina bifida which effects the spine so i cant get an epidural and i cant push because if i push too hard it can cause more harm to my spine @junebaby

both my doctor and doctors at the hospital ive stayed at have told me the same thing

@seleneromanortiz12, oh you definitely need a section then. are they putting you to sleep for the surgery.

yeah they are..well we dont know for sure yet he said that there might be other medication that they can give me but he said more than likely they would put me under general anesthesia @junebaby we talked about it very early on in the pregnancy so he didnt get into too much detail.
