To Those Of You Who Already Gave Birth.. How Many Stitches Did You Have To Get Down There, If Any??…

honestly my doctor never told me how many..I just assumed a lot because I got stitches all the way on my butt hole lol 😂😞

I had my little girl at 37w5d she weighed 7lbs 3oz and I didn't tear at all so no stitches

My doctor never told me but I counted like 7 and it was only a degree 1 tear.

I have no idea. Doc nvr told me:/...But I got second degree tear..bby weighed 7lbs 1oz

I had an episiotomy with my first and tore with my second but I don't know how many there were. Honestly you don't even know you tear or at least I didn't until afterwards.

No one told me how many stitches but I assume a lot I had a 3rd degree tear. In other words from my vag to my booty.

@2615mommi2b, well sense I actually also pulled both my inner thigh muscles that hurt much worse then my stitches, so I thought my vag healed pretty quick. But it actually took about 7 weeks to fully heal from my tear and it took 8-9 weeks for my muscles to heal.

@californiahaley I also had a third degree tear from my first and maan I feel your pain, it hurt to go to the bathroom, peeing, sitting down, omg the car ride on the way home!! But like a week or two later it was fine. This time, I did tear again but only required like 2-3 stitches, didn't even feel them, you actually don't feel when you tear, at least I didn't neither one of the times. They will give you some numbing spray which helps and stool softeners help also. I can't say it doesn't hurt because it does, but it's honestly not as bad as people make it seem, it hurts but tolerable pain, you would be fine with a tylenol. @jstrong12712

@2615mommi2b, yes I was shocked when I figured out just how far it was /: its not bad though. I didn't feel anything or have pains peeing/pooing after. & it all healed back to normal. (:

@jstrong12712, you take stool softeners to help it not hurt so much. It took me like 5 days to poop after birth but wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be
