Ladies who had/have premies, what would you guys recommend I register for? I know my baby is going…

hello :) my daughter was born at 34 weeks. and she actually grew really fast. so as far as preemie clothes go, you should only need a few pairs of pjs and outfits. my daughter was in the 3 month outfits for the longest time after she also quickly outgrew the newborn size. she will be 6 months on the 28th and she is just now in the 3-6 Month clothes. but also every baby is different. how early do you think your baby is going to be? I pray for a safe delivery for both yourself and your little one :)

besides the clothes everything else is pretty much the same. the carseat straps will just need to be on the lowest setting to ensure they are safely in the carseat :)

@brie127, they're pushing to get me to 34 weeks but I could deliver any time before then. I'm 31 weeks now and thanks! I was reading online and saw premie at seats and bottles and wasn't sure if I needed different things or not because of that

not at all. save your money, they are just trying to get you to spend more because it's "preemie" they will quickly out grow things :)

my baby girl got lucky and only had to stay for a week and a half In the NICU. she only had problems maintaining her body temperature. make sure, if they haven't already, that they give you the shot that helps their lungs developed faster, I strongly believe that's why my baby girl had no trouble breathing at all

and you're very welcome :D I'm all about saving money especially because we also have a 4 year old son and my fiance is the only one working right now. if the regular baby things work for preemies then I feel there's no point in spending the extra money for something they will only use for a couple of weeks haha :)

@brie127, they gave me those the second time they almost delivered me. Were you able to breast feed after that? Or did you have to switch to formula?

I was able to breastfeed. I did so for about a month and a half. unfortunately I'm no good at handling nipple pain so I switched to formula lol

They told me I probably won't be able to breast feed but I'm hoping she does better than expected so I can @brie127
