I would ask just to be on the safe side. They can test you pee for protein. If your pee has to much protein & your blood pressure is high then you might have it.

Depends on how serious it is. I was in the hospital for a week because my blood pressure was way to high and it would not go down at all and my pee had way to much protein and I was swelling up like a balloon. They didn't wanna risk it. I've seen post on here about how they get tested and sent home and doctor calls them if they have it. It just depends.

Oh well the only other thing is I have low iron & after a while of standing up I have to sit down or I get really weak @liinababess_

I have preeclampsia. in swell really bad. no major headache or visit changes. but my blood pressure spikes up and I have a lot of protein in my urine. I just get monitored more now, and have to do a 24 pee test once a week until I have her. and suppose to be on minor bedrest. I can still do things but if I get to bad I have to stay in bed...
