I want todo cloth diapers. is anyone doing this or will be? They have disposable insert or cloth. what do you prefer?
I would say get them there cause that's a great price for them and you might really like them. I didn't make this one, this is called "Little Monsters" it's a pocket style they retail at $25 I have I think 10 of these 7 were gifted and 3 I purchased on Zulily for $9.
@californiahaley, we'll yeah I was only going to get them because they were at the consignment store. did you make that or what is that one called
I don't really like them just they come in sizes, small, medium ect. I prefere the one size snaps. But gdiapers are good diapers I just think buying a whole stash of gdiapers would get pricey. I do have homemade diapers in the gdiaper style which I like a lot. The Ginserts are pricy but really absorbent. I got a couple packs from a friend and really liked them for night time or long trips. However I won't fork out the money to buy them myself. I cloth specifically to safe money so spending money each week or month on something is throw away didn't seem smart.
That's a great deal depending on the brand. I used to have a consignment store here that had them but it clothed and no other baby store here sells them so I had to buy all mine online.
Thanks ladies!!! @junebaby @californiahaley I think I'm gonna try some. I have a really nice consignment store that is selling the covers for $3 and inserts for 1.
Disposable inserts get expensive and you might as well use disposable diapers if you're going to use them in my opinion.
there is a mom on here that uses them and gave me advice on where to buy them cheap. @californiahaley
This will be my first to do them with. My cousin loves them. You rinse the poop out and throw in the wash. My cousin said if you strictly breastfeed you can throw right in the washer. With formula or food though you have to rinse. They have sprayers you can buy too. I will probably use disposable at first until the baby passes all its first bowel movement because its so thick and nasty.
@junebaby, and how do you like it? is it messy or gross. you wash them right
