so I didn't realize it but im having my baby shower on superbowl. I sent out the invites a month ahead. my aunt got all pissed off about it so she's not coming. then my MIL called lastnight making it worse by telling me to change the date. as myself and husband were telling her no (she's throwing it for me, but not really) she asked what time it was at so I told her and then she got an attitude about it. leading to me crying again about the whole day. I'm already upset about the day coming.

@mrs.oliva, Feb 1. my aunt made a big thing about it on fb and everyone was downing me. and I'm not changed it cause its too late and why should I please everyone.

I agree keep it that day and its wrong that super bowl is more important then a celebration of a new baby !

Honestly I would change it or be okay with not having many people there.... It sucks but some people treat it like another holiday. Or maybe just do it super early in the morning?
