I breast feed and was told to start on one side then burp him then offer the other breast. Sometimes he doesn't burp he ends up burping later on on his own...is it bad if I can't get him to burp when I burp him?

no they eventually burp on there own stomachs get the hiccups like mine does

He just may get more gassy. All you can do is try though. My youngest daughter was so hard to burp.

@junebaby, I try til my arm hurts from trying Lol sometimes he burps and sometimes he doesn't

yea you just have to let him it happen nothing we can really do unfortunatley

Dont worry too much. My babies couldn't always burp. He will be ok.

Your welcome. One good thing about breast babies is they usually don't get quite as much air.
