@tragic_imperfection (on Instagram) has a question and would like anyone to share there experience.

QUESTION:

This is my first pregnancy and I would like to see how long after others were 1cm dilated did it take for their bundle of joy to come? I'm 36 weeks tomorrow. And I got checked today to see if I was dilating. I'm 1cm dilated and 80% effaced. And I was also curious about if others started having contractions after getting checked?
