I'm crying my eyes out! my son has been crying for 2 solid hours & I have no idea what to do to make…

its ok. if he's fed and dry just walk away for a few. sometimes you just gotta cry together.

he may be gassy. give yourself a few minutes and try laying him across your legs on a pillow and pat his back. you may have done it already but sometimes that would calm mine down.

@junebaby, I've truly tried everything to comfort him & nothing has worked. I feel guilty every time I step away because of how badly he's crying. I know there is nothing I can do just sitting with him but I would kill for a cigarette right now & this is the first time in almost a year I've craved one or needed one this badly!

I'm so sorry. Its hard taking care of a new baby. They can't say what's wrong. He may just be colicky. Give yourself a break though. Step outside and get some air for a minute.

He may be colicky ....do you drive ... Cause that works the best try swaddling and burping ...or a pacifier ... Or try sound effects like white noise these are all things that worked for me till I went to the doctor
