its yours. you have a main artery that runs right through the center of your body. you can probably lay flat and even see your heartbeat through your stomach sometimes. may not can with you at 37 weeks though.

or its hiccups. I thought it was the baby's heart beat but it comes and goes. He gets the hiccups often now that I'm 38 weeks.
