So after being in labor for 17 hours. I only dilated to a 4 and the epidural was only working on my left side. After talking to my husband about it. I made the decIsion to have a c-section. The numbing medicine wasn't working then either, so I had to be put under anesthesia. I woke up in a daze later. I wanted to know where my dad, husband, and daughter were Md also if both me and my daughter were okay. Luckily we were both okay and she was in the nursery and michael, dad, and everybody else were waiting for me in my recovery room. Michael held skylar after she was born and everybody else got to see her and take pics. I was the only one who hadnt seen my daughter and that hurt. She was eventually brought to my room and I held her. The love I immediately felt for her was indescribable. I cried and cried. Skylar Rose, you caused complications and delivery was very scary and difficult but I would go back and do it all over again. I love you my beautiful perfect daughter
