How do I find out if my insurance covers a pump. My friend gave me one but I heard that your not supposed to use a pump from someone else unless its a certain kind.

Call your insurance customer service and they will let you know what is covered and how to get it...I just called yesterday and I'm 100% covered.

I just found out I a 100% covered as well. @eskawho do you know what pump your getting? There is so many to choose from and I dont know anything about pumps this is my first child. I want a good one tho because I know it makes a difference.

well I had a choice I could rent a hospital grade one for 6 months or purchase one...I know it will be a basic one. I think it's the ameda symply yours basic but I figure I will try it and if I don't like it I will just go buy one lol. the one I'm getting retails for 180ish. I only plan on using to pump so my husband can feed or we leave the baby with a sitter.
