If I remember right, my son fit into newborn until he was around 10 lbs. It should fit fine.

It's hard to say, just depends when you actually give birth and how much your baby weighs. I would get it though, you never know! :)

I bought a July 4th newborn shirt for my son. He was born June 9th, but wasn't due until July 7th.

oh wow! well mine won't be arriving that early... I'll be 37 wks on Friday. so I'm thinking even if she comes a week early she'll hopefully fit! lol @mrssupernerd
