I am getting my cervix checked next weds and They will schedule to induce me next week around my due date (January 25th) if My cervix is favorable.. If not they said they will not got past 41 weeks.

Has anyone tried evening primrose oil to start soften they cervix ? My sister did it and she had her baby this morning at 39 weeks
Currently 34 weeks and my doctor has never checked my cervix. Is that normal? My next appointment is at 36 weeks should they check it then?
I have my strep b test next Wednesday. What should I expect? Also I was check to see if I was dialated almost 2 weeks ago and I was completely closed and my cervix was super thick. Is there anyway ti help thin out my cervix and help myself dialate?

Now I’m sooo uncomfortable it feels like my cervix is ripping with every step. Hoping baby comes this weekend or next week.
