Ok so I thought I would make a list of the things I think IMO are most important, or what has helped me this week being home the most and what to take to the hospital, just to help some mommas out :)
At the hospital:
-shampoo, conditioner, deodorant, toothbrush, comfortable clothes because those gowns get irritating, make sure you have some comfortable pants that are loose around your waist and comfy shoes, socks, blankets. The rest like towels and underwear they will provide and they are wonderful.
-For baby, clothes definitely, pacifier, burping bibs, bottles or not if you're breastfeeding. But definitely like onesies because they are easy to put on and take off and gentle on the umbilical cord, socks, and those mittens. Whatever else but those are the things I needed most.
At home:
PADS! PADS! PADS! I'm still bleeding heavily at times so make sure you have a BIG pack of them ready! Lots of toilet paper because you will be cleaning yourself up alooot! Get those wet wipes. Try to keep your house as clean as possible so that when it's go time, you won't come home to a messy home because it will piss you off lol.
For baby at home:
-SWING! You can only have your baby in someone elses arms, in yours, in his crib, or on your bed..a swing helps soothe them and they can be in the living room swinging away while you make dinner.
-Plenty of onesies, diapers, wipes. Blankets, especially those wraps to wrap they up in like the hospital ones, those are so wonderful because you get a good grip on baby and they love being wrapped, makes them feel like their mommies womb, and vaseline if you circumcise your baby boy, some pacifier holders that clip onto their clothes are great, plenty plenty of onesies! I just had to buy more because he has grown out of the newborn ones, they fit snug on him.
That is, in my experience, the things I have needed the most these days! Hope it helps someone else! :)

@sexii_diiva they do but its those big green pacifiers and I gave my baby different ones that i bought him and they do give you those but i still took some cute ones, they gave me 2 little white shirts for him and those were really good!

my hospital doesn't give pacifiers.. cause they're all about breastfeeding. but hey I asked the doctor about the umbilical cord falling off & how its still bleeding a little she said its normal & it should heal on its own but that if I was worried about it that I could put neosporin on it, but I think I'm just gonna let it heal on its own she said to just watch for redness around the belly button & swelling then let her know or go to the er

No she actually opened it up today & she said it looks good but she said it will close up so that must be a good sign that your baby's closed

@january10th omg yees!! im all rosada from the damn pads lol.. ive been pumping some but even then it hurts, i cant imagine your pain girl... today was better, so happy about that. I didnt think too much, tried to look at the positive. today was much better than yesterday so maybe im making progress!!

ugh yes girl I have the same problem! its so annoying! I'm trying not to pump I'm getting so frustrated tho cause we have on good feeding then the next time it hurts like a mother effer ugh it sucks im trying to stick it thru tho I should be okay after next week but ugh it seems so far away! that's good that it wasn't as bad, I think you'll be okay. you just gotta give yourself time.

@january10th thats so good that youre trying that much!! i "tried" this time but it just hurt too much and then I hardly have boobs which sucks lmao its so hard for him to get a grip! if you can then do it but if its too painful, thats ok too. i can't wait till a month goes by at least, i want him to be a little bigger, i loove him small but im so scared of hurting him lol i feel like hes gonna break like when i put his clothes on him.. time goes by pretty fast though :(

for me at the hospital it didn't hurt at all it started hurting when I came home its horrible but I'm gonna stick it thru I did it for three months with my second so I know I can do it with him! I know! mine little guy is so small he was only 6lbs at birth so can you imagine?! lol he's still in newborn diapers! he did gain weight tho so that's good
